Baptism

Parents of a child to be baptized must be registered in the parish. If you are not registered parishioners, please fill out a New Parishioner Registration Form, found on the New Parishioner page under the Parish Life tab.

Before an infant is baptized parents are required to attend a Baptism Preparation Class. Classes are offered monthly.

Please contact Cindy Schilmoeller to schedule a baptism or if you have questions: cindy-schilmoeller@cdolinc.net.

Once Godparents/Baptism Sponsors have been selected, please contact Cindy Schilmoeller at the Parish Office.

Eucharist
The Holy Eucharist is a sacrament and a sacrifice.

In the Holy Eucharist, under the appearances of bread and wine, the Lord Christ is contained, offered, and received.

This miracle of God’s physical presence to us at every Mass is the truest testament to Christ’s love for us and His desire for each of us to have a personal relationship with Him.

The doctrine of the Real Presence that Catholics believe today was believed by the earliest Christians 2,000 years ago.

Confirmation

Preparation for Youth Confirmation: St. Michael School and CCD students begin to prepare in the fall of 5th grade, followed by Confirmation in the spring.

Preparation for Adult Confirmation: Adults who wish to be confirmed are asked to attend RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) classes. These classes prepare the individual to learn about the Catholic faith and provide a clear understanding of ALL the sacraments.

For more information about Confirmation, please contact Joy Martin in the parish office.

Holy Matrimony

Couples are required to fulfill  diocesan and parish Marriage Preparation which requires a minimum of six months.  Contact the pastor early to begin the Marriage Preparation process.

Matthew 28:19-20

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
