Dear St. Michael Parishioner,
I hope you are well.
Hopefully you were at Mass last weekend when I announced the exciting news that after years of planning and exceptional parish generosity, we have been given permission to break ground in spring 2020 on our new church and junior high classroom addition. This is one year earlier than previously projected.
If we meet our pledge commitment and construction goals, we could celebrate Christmas Mass 2021 in our new church. I cannot think of a better way to express our appreciation for the gifts God has given us than to celebrate His birth in a proper worship space, complete with a manger scene.
Once again, we celebrated this great milestone in our parish history with Baker’s Chocolates.
I have enclosed a Frequently Asked Questions document to help you understand our timeline, financial status, and decision-making process. I hope you will take the time to review it.
There will be a table set up at the Annual Stewardship Fair this next weekend (April 6 & 7) where you can ask questions, get more information, and fill out input/comment cards.
We will also hold a series of open Focus Group meetings in the next couple months to give all parishioners an opportunity to learn more and provide feedback to the Building Committee.
