Dear St. Michael Family,
“The priest is not his own.” These words from Servant of God Fulton J. Sheen draw us into the profound mystery and joy of the priesthood—a life given entirely to Christ and poured out for His people. Every vocation is a gift from the Father, a sign of His love for the Church and His desire to shepherd His children through the hands and hearts of His priests. As a parish family, we have the privilege of supporting and encouraging these vocations, rejoicing in the men who say yes to giving their one life wholly to Jesus.
This year, St. Michael’s Parish has been asked to contribute $32,490.00 toward the Bishop’s Appeal for Vocations—a goal that reflects both our capacity and our commitment to the future of the Church. Every gift, no matter the size, helps form and sustain the next generation of priests who will serve our communities with courage, compassion, and unwavering faith. Your generosity is not merely financial; it is a spiritual investment in the life of the Church and in the flourishing of vocations that will shape souls for decades to come.
A link for online giving will be available here, starting September 26.
Thank you for your continued faithfulness, your sacrificial support, and your profound love for the Church. Let us celebrate this milestone together as we remain united in our mission to give our one life in service to Christ and His people.
In Him,

Fr. Cole Kennett
